 Persecution continues in Orissa State in India.
Many have lost everything as the rebels continue to harass the people at will, while the government seems oblivious to what is happening.
  Even as I write this article many are suffering for the cause of Christ. We here in America don’t hear much about what is going on around the world, so we are prone to believe that suffering for Christ stopped when the apostle’s died. But that is not true. In fact the apostleship set up by Jesus never ended. In fact, in India there were 70 recorded attacks in 14 different states just in the first half of this year.    Churches were burned. Evangelists were thrown in jail. Pastors were beaten. Thousands of Christians from Orissa state, where radical Hindus waged repeated attacks on believers still remain homeless long after government-run refugee camps were closed. These radical’s seek to expel all other faiths from India, especially Christians. But despite these hardships, our persecuted family in India are still holding on to their faith.

What they found was total destruction.
One shop after another were totally destroyed. No reason for what had happened.except pure hatered for the Christians that owned the shops. Do these things still happen in a civilized world? Who said we were civilized?

Words and promises bring no hope or consolation when you are hungry, thristy, poor and naked. When people come, the church prays they will come with more than words.

.Young men are troubled but realize there is nothing they can do.............but wonder!!
 People ask, "what can we do?" We cannot meet all the needs of the world. We surely cannot! I wish there was a simple answer, but there is not. At least, not that I know about. The only place I know to look is the Bible. When I look to the Word of God, I find it saying: "Defend the poor and the fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy." Psalm 82:3. "Whoso stops his ears at the cry of the poor, he also shall cry himself , but shall not be heard." Proverbs 21:13. "Be kindly affectioned one to the other with brotherly love; in honor preferring one another." Romans 12:10. He that oppresses the poor the poor reproaches his maker: but he that honor's him has mercy on the poor." Proverbs 14:31. God is letting us know what it takes to please Him.
 
 We can show or tell you what is happening to Christian's around the world, but like you there is not much we can do by ourselves. But together we can make a difference
